About Advocacy Now

We are a charity for people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and surrounding Boroughs that is free and completely confidential.

We recruit, train and support people to become advocates, who will work on a one-to-one basis with a Client either in the short or long term.

Who do we support?

We provide support for adults living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and surrounding areas. Our service is completely inclusive to all BAME cultures and backgrounds.

What can we support you with?

Our Staff and Volunteers can support you with a range of issues such as benefits checks, issues with rent, council tax, bills from utilities companies, explaining issues in a clear and understandable manner, using the most appropriate means necessary and appropriate to yourself. Please call us for a chat and we'll discuss if we can help you.

What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Advocates and advocacy schemes work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.’
